GX WebManager Community Edition Software Download
Click on the download button for the latest version (Windows installer - approx. 254 MB). This download includes a pre-configured website with examples and explanations and the complete Software Development Kit. It will install Apache Tomcat, Maven and MySQL for your convenience..
Tip: The files from the Windows installer can also be used to install the community edition on Linux. See the forum for tips and details.
Before you start
Before you start downloading make sure you have Java 5 / JDK 1.5 installed. All other software is included in the download and will be installed automatically by the installer. The complete set system requirements are also available.
Start working in 6 steps:
Step 1
Save the installer file to your local disk and start the installation by double clicking the downloaded file.
Step 2
Follow the steps and instructions shown in the set up wizard. GX WebManager will be automatically installed.
Step 3
Start the GX WebManager server using the desktop shortcut or menu item "Start WebManager Server".
Step 4
Wait for the "Webmanager has started" message in the Tomcat window. Minimize all windows but keep them active.
Step 5
Start GX WebManager using the desktop shortcut or menu item "Edit Environment". Enter the username and password and login.
Step 6
Enjoy working with GX WebManager!
To stop: Log out and use the shortcut or menu item "Stop WebManager Server".
