Question regarding insert Element Collection

On our site we use a 3th party plugin (Element Collection) on two pages. These pages were designed some time ago and for a new page I want to reuse this plugin.

Normally I can add an element at 'insert' (main menu) but the Element Collection is not available here. How can I add a new Element collection? Or copy one from one page to another?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi mathijsvdk,

After installing the new plugin, did you reload the WebManager screen? It takes a reload of the browser to add the items to the menu. Pressing F5 should do the job.

If that doesn't work: maybe your user doesn't have the rights to use the new element. Check under Authorization and see if there are new options that need their checkboxes to be ticked. Apply changes and reload WebManager (F5).

Hope that helps.

Greetings,

Patrick

And while your checking: Check Configuration > Web Initiative configuration > Functionalities.

Could you you'll need to activate it over there.
