Migrating your database from MSSQL 2000 to MSSQL 2005 doesn't require any extra tool, since MSSQL 2005 will take care of that.

What Leon is pointing out, is that there might be minor problems with queries because of differences between MSSQL 2000 and MSSQL 2005. No tool is going to help you with optimizing those, it will need to be done manually.

I think u should use a third party help to resolve this problem, i use dbload to solve it when i was migrated my data, it can migrate almost any data, it helps me to convert MSSQL to MYSQL, MS access to MSSQL, mysql, csv loader, foxpro and MSSQL to MS access, MYSQl, CSV, foxpro etc. i found it on google search.

We (GX) have several WM83 customer sites running on MS-SQL2005. There can be some minor problems when using certain queries because they are scripted in such a way the execution order is suboptimal in MS-SQL2005.

Besides that it's just a question of changing your setup.properties (and running ant fixconfigonly/updateconfig) Changing the server.xml and changing the database references either by fixing them directly in the SwDatabase table or by using "edit the databases".
