We released an out-of-the-box module which embeds Google Analytics information in our flagship product GX WebManager. The tight integration and delivery of Google Analytics data, as part of daily work processes, makes Google Analytics enterprise ready for GX corporate accounts.
GX is participating in the Google Analytics API Private Beta program in order to deliver Google analytical data directly to GX end users. It will help them monitor and optimize their web site in order to increase traffic and optimize lead conversion. Martin van Mierloo, Product Manager at GX, explains: “Until now, a web site manager had to go to a separate environment for web site metrics. Using the new Google Analytics integration capabilities, we can retrieve relevant information from the Google database and present it to all individual web site editors, right where they need it and in a single well-known user interface. It is the final step to adopt this great analytical tool in an enterprise environment.”
The Google Analytics module is a result of cooperation, an innovative development approach and the ease of integrating pure internet systems according to Van Mierloo. “GX WebManager allows us, our partners and our customers to build and release new functionalities quickly and independently of the basic product. We will continue to respond right away to innovative new features that will immediately result in meaningful applications. The module is available as a component at wcmexchange.com, our internet marketplace.”
Currently the WCB has been released but connection to Google is only possible if you are in the Private Beta program. We are waiting for Google to switch to beta to make this API available for others.
