Hi there! As you may know, GX is one of the contributors to J-Spring,
so we're here in full and total effect on the show floor at the
GX-stand. I'll see if we can hook you home-base protectors up with with
some live photo's.
There are quite a few parallel sessions going on here, I went to see "Wicked web development with Wicket" by Lars Vonk. Quit de charming concepts in there, really. Nice separation of responsibilities; design is done in plain ol' xHTML, with the addition of Wicket-specific id's and tags. Lars also went on to demonstrate how automatic testing is facilitated, also nice and clean.
Next on my menu of fun was "OSGi on Google Android using Apache Felix", not by one day fresh father Karl Pauls, but by his co-host (also from Luminis), Marcel Offermans. Google Android is an open and free platform for mobile applications. Marcel explained the concepts of OSGi and Android and the efforts it took to get the two working together.
For now, I'll leave it at this; lunch now and after GX's own Hallo Khaznadar will talk on "Integration of OSGi in an enterprise Java (web)application"! Looking forward to it!
Later,
Patrick

P.S. I never got around to hooking you up with some photos; I managed to uncover at least one:
Patrick Atoon has gained nuff respect as one of the most experienced web architects in the GX Webmanager community or even the global hip hop community for that matter.
